On his 14th birthday everything goes wrong. First he gets rejected by Risa a girl who he really
likes and then he gets tricked into cleaning duties. But when he gets home it gets only worse
when he looks at a painting of Risa which he made. For the very first time he turns into Dark,
but he doesn’t like it at all and only wants to know the fastest way to get rid of him again. For
that he has to steal the ‘holy maiden’ but soon he finds out that it isn’t one of the art pieces he
had stolen, but the heart of the girl he loves. Eventually the relation between Daisuke and
Dark becomes better though Daisuke has a lot to say about Dark’s behaviour and isn’t to keen
on him stealing either.
Another problem is his love life. Risa, a girl he has a crush on, only sees him as a friend. And
her having a crush on Dark doesn’t make the situation easier for Daisuke. He gets depressed
sometimes if she talks about Dark a lot or when Dark talks about her, but after a while he
realises that in fact it isn’t Risa he has an crush on, but her twin sister Riku! I COULD tell you more... but you should watch DNAngel! Or read it! Or preferably, BOTH!
